Vi pumps are plate–rotary monoblock vacuum pumps designed for pumping out of sealed vessels of air, non-aggressive to the materials of the structure and the working fluid of fire- and explosion-proof non-toxic gases with an oxygen content no higher than in the air under normal conditions (21% by volume), vapors and vapor-gas mixtures, previously purified from droplet moisture and mechanical pollution, from atmospheric to extreme residual.

An electromagnetic valve is included in the design of this vacuum pump, which automatically closes the pump inlet after the power is turned off.
